Hemanua takes legal action against 3M for Patent Infringement

Hemanua Limited announces that it has taken legal action  against 3M (Germany) for the patent infringement of Hemanua's ProBlood Rescue System by the 3M Blood Separation System.

Hemanua Limited, based in Dublin in Ireland, was formed in 2014 with the objective of researching, designing, developing, and bringing to commercialisation  innovative life-saving blood separation technologies based on the core patented platform of mircofibre blood filtration technology. Hemanua acquired the assets of Hemacon GmbH.

Dan Maher, CEO of Hemanua Limited,  commenting on the legal action against 3M, indicated that Hemanua had filed the court action in the Patent Courts of Düsseldorf in Germany on October 13th 2015, and the case will be adjudicated in court in December 2016.

Hemanua Limited is the legal owner of all intellectual property of former medical technology firms Hemacon GmbH (Germany) and Heim Medizintechnik GmbH (Germany).  Mr. Maher is a former CEO of Hemacon GmbH.
